The Australians take the lead in the FEI Eventing Nations Cup competition at the LOTTO Strzegom Horse Trials after the dressage test. Second place belongs to the Poles and third - to Germany.
Australia is represented by: Andrew Hoy and Vassily De Lassos, Grace Kay with Bluefields For Cello and Kevin Mcnab riding Scuderia 1918 Don Quidam – the latter pair currently in second position individually with 29,1.
The Polish team of Jan Kamiński and Jard, Robert Powała with Tosca Del Castegno, Małgorzata Korycka riding Canvalencia and Paweł Warszawski with Lucinda Ex Ani 4 lies in second overnight, with Warszawski fifth individually, scored at 30,9.
Germany takes third place as a team and their representative Julia Krajewski on horse Great Twist D'ive Z is the current leader of the competition with a score of 27.9. – I‘m very happy. He can be reluctant sometimes, but he felt comfortable here and he pleased the judges. – said the rider. Switzerland’s Felix Vogg is third riding Colero – 29.2.
Dutchman Raf Kooremans with Crossborder Radar Love leads the 4*L class with 31.9. In the 3*S the best score belongs to Germany’s Emma Hartmann with Baloucor - 30.1, in the 2*, the leader is Germany’s Pia Leuwer with Charming Boy 67 - 26.1, ahead of Pole Mateusz Kiempa riding Crazy Fire - 28.8.
In the Polish Championships for Young Riders, the best one after dressage is Zuzanna Borkowska with the Polish-bred mare Gracja - 32.4.
On Saturday, the athletes will compete in the cross-country and showjumping trials.
