Strzegom has long been one of the most important venues on the European eventing map. It is where the world’s top riders compete alongside those developing their skills at the international level. With just a month left until the first competition of the season at the Morawa Hippodrome, preparations are in full swing!

Preparations in Full Swing

The cross-country course and event infrastructure are currently being prepared for the upcoming competitions. So far, the weather has been favorable, allowing for smooth progress on course building and new features on the track. The stabling area will also be upgraded with new footing, and the entire venue will receive updated signage.
Marcin Konarski, event organizer and Course Designer, shares his philosophy on course building:

“As a course designer, my priority is to create educational courses that allow horses and riders to develop progressively. The goal is to prepare them for future success in championship competitions while offering fair and rewarding challenges.”

Strzegom’s courses are diverse and suited to all levels, making it the perfect venue for riders to improve their skills. Both young horses and experienced competitors will find challenges that contribute to their long-term success.

“That’s why we continuously add new elements to the cross-country course and build fresh obstacles, ensuring that every edition of the event provides a unique test for riders.” – adds Konarski.

• FEI European Championships for Juniors & Young Riders (August 20-24),
• Strzegom Autumn Show (September 4-7),
• Strzegom October Festival (October 2-5).

Supporting Riders – A Unique Entry SystemCompeting in Strzegom isn’t just about top-level sport – it also comes with attractive benefits for riders:

• Reduced entry fees – for the 5th, 6th, and subsequent horses entered by the same rider or owner, the entry fee in lower classes is only €200.
• 13th start for free – after 12 international starts in a season, the 13th start in a lower class is free of charge.

This system allows riders to compete more frequently and optimize their season planning.

The 2025 Eventing season kicks off in Strzegom! The renowned equestrian venue, which has been attracting the world’s top riders for years, will host two prestigious competitions to open this year’s international calendar. Strzegom Spring Open I will take place from April 11-13, followed by Strzegom Spring Open II from April 24-27. Riders can now register – the deadline for the first event is March 18, while entries for the second edition close on March 25.

We are pleased to announce the approaching Eventing season in Strzegom. In 2025 we are planning to host as many as 7 international events.

Strzegom is an ideal venue for all Eventing enthusiasts to present their skills, compete with other riders, enjoy the unique atmosphere of the sport and share the experience.

As usual during our events we will see competitions for professionals at 3* and 4* level, while less experienced horses and riders will be able to test their abilities in 1* and 2* competition, as well as lower national classes. This creates a unique opportunity to share experience. The careers of some top Eventing riders now competing at the highest international level actually began in Strzegom. Who knows, maybe some extraordinary new talents are waiting to emerge this year?

We guarantee that the Strzegom events are always prepared according to the highest standards, while our Event Office is invariably friendly, helpful and supportive. Our hippodrome features state of the art competition arenas and cross country courses, designed and built with the utmost care to provide educational opportunities that enhance the development of each and every horse. We spend every winter working on new ideas for the cross country in order to offer you something new and different every year. This time you will see new hills and mounds which will make the track more attractive, while the coffin has been fundamentally refurbished and will be ready for use during the Strzegom Horse Trials in June.

The greatest change however, will be in our infrastructure. We are building a new dressage arena which will enable us to run four dressage tests at the same time without compromising the comfort of warm up. It will also help to reduce the overall competition time.
