There are two weeks left until the deadline for entries for the 21st edition of LOTTO Strzegom Horse Trials - the fifth leg of the FEI Eventing Nations Cup.
There are ten international competitions to be played out: CCI4*-L, CCIO4*-NC-S, CCI3*-L, CCI3*-S, CCI2*-L, CCI2*-S, CCI1*-Intro and classes for youth categories: CCI2*J-S, CCI3*Y-S, CCIP2-S. As part of the international classes, young riders and juniors will compete for medals of the Polish Championships.
The riders won’t fight for podium placings only at the arenas in Morawa. For some pairs, the event will be the last chance to obtain the minimum qualification requirements for participation in the Olympic Games in Paris. And for many juniors and young riders, it will be an important stage of preparation for the European Championships for youth categories, which will be held in Strzegom in August.
- “Intensive preparations are underway at the hippodrome and the fences are already being set up on the cross-country courses. My aim this year is to give the riders and horses a chance to build the necessary confidence and experience ahead of the upcoming Games and Championships. I hope that all the athletes will finish the competition with a baggage of positive experiences and proceed to the final stage of their preparation with the necessary motivation," says Marcin Konarski, the cross-country course designer.
The deadline for entries is May 27th.
