After today’s second part of the dressage, the German team is in the lead in the FEI Nations Cup class at LOTTO Strzegom Horse Trials.
Germany is represented by: Johanna Marloh with Crazy Carlotta, who is placed second individually – 29,3, Sophie Leube with Sweetwaters Ziethen TSF, and Vanessa Bölting with Ready To Go W – 31,0. The leading combined score is 89,3.
Second position belongs to the USA – 92,9. The best result in the squad as well as the individual lead belongs to Caroline Pamukcu with HSH Blake – 28,1. - „He’s such a special horse. He’s only eight years old, so I’m really proud of him. At that age they’re still lacking so much strength, so for him to go in and be able to hold a consistent test - I think it’s just phenomenal. We have high hopes for him for the future.” – said the leader.
The Dutch are third overnight as a team (93,0) and individually with Sanne De Jong aboard Enjoy (29,4).
The home team, represented by Julia Gillmaier with Red Dream Princes and debutantes: Robert Powała with Rara del Castegno and Alicja Tropiło with Cerousina, is currently ninth with 111,8. The highest-ranked team rider is Powała, who sits in 17th out of 53 riders.
In the CCI3*S, Michael Jung (GER) tops the leaderboard with fischerWild Wave – 27,6, and is second with Ignatz H – 28,5. Louise Romeike (SWE) tops off the podium with Caspian 15 – 28,9.
The Swedish athlete was unbeatable at the dressage arena in the CCI2*S class. The top three belongs to her, with Rockett 19 (24,8), Clearsky (28,6) and Extravagance (29,0). Polish rider Zuzanna Społowicz leads the junior 2* class aboard Bankier – 27,4.
On Saturday, the riders will compete in the cross-country and showjumping trials.
