This year’s 19th edition of Strzegom Horse Trials is coming soon. Intensive preparations are underway in Strzegom on the cross-country course, and the first entries are coming in.
The weather is very favorable to us. It’s warm and sunny, which allows for extensive work on the XC course - says Marcin Konarski, the cross-country course designer - a lot will definitely change again on this year’s course. We always try to find new ideas and interesting obstacles for our upcoming competitions.
The rivalry during the two days of the cross-country trial - the cross-country trials will be played out on Saturday and Sunday - promises to be very exciting. The aim while preparing the courses is their educational character. I hope that the tests will be friendly for the riders and horses, and at the same time allow them to learn as much as possible and gain a lot of experience, as for a lot of athletes they will be an important stage in the preparation for the World Championships in Pratoni del Vivaro.
10 international classes will be played out during Strzegom Horse Trials, starting from the CCI2* for ponies and CCI1*-Intro, through the CCI 2/3/4* S/L and CCIJ2*-S and CCIY3*-S. The most prestigious class of the show will be the CCIO4* Nations Cup. The event will also determine the medalists of the Polish National Championships in the senior, young rider and junior categories.
Strzegom Horse Trials is not only the prestigious international classes. It is also a chance for beginner riders and young horses to gain valuable experience. The national classes include: CNC 80, CNC 100, CNC 100-18, and CNC 100 for 4-year-old horses.
The first riders have already made their entries at the beginning of May. The final deadline for entries is June 1st.
See You in Strzegom!
