The team rivalry in the Nations Cup and the fight for medals of the Polish Championships in Eventing will take place in a month's time at the hippodrome in Morawa during Strzegom Horse Trials
The Nations Cup season started in May at Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy. The race for valuable points will take place during eight tournaments in Europe and one in Canada. After the first leg of the series, the Swiss are in the lead in the overall classification.
In June, the third round will be decided as part of Strzegom Horse Trials. In Poland, this will be the highest-ranked competition of the equestrian triathlon, as the discipline of eventing is commonly called. It is one of the most spectacular equestrian sports in which horse and rider combinations compete in three trials: dressage, cross-country and showjumping.
The program includes as many as ten international classes, ranging from one to four stars, including all youth categories as well as four national competitions. The show will also determine the medalists of the Polish Championships for seniors, young riders and juniors.
- A lot more than an interesting sports rivalry awaits the fans in Strzegom. After two years of the Covid-19 pandemic, organizing the event behind closed doors or with a limited number of audiences, this year we plan to prepare a lot of attractions for the public and we hope for many of them to arrive – says Marcin Konarski, the president of the Organizing Committee.
A special offer awaits the youngest fans. Especially with them in mind, the Little Fan Zone will be opened this year, where kids will not only be able to ride ponies, learn to groom a horse, meet the stars of the competition, but above all try their hand at a showjumping competition on foot, with fences designed for jumping without horses.
The competition will be held from the 23rd to the 26th of June at the hippodrome in Morawa near Strzegom. Admission to the competition is free. Parking costs PLN 20.
