The third day of Strzegom Horse Trials 2015 emerged the winners from the three competitions: CI-short1*, CI-short1* J and CI-short2*. Today the competition begun other riders in CI-long2* and CICO3* NC. In the individual classification of Nations Cup so far leads the representative from Germany.
Today we ended CI-short1* J. The best junior rider on Strzegom Horse Trials 2015 is Gerdin Frens from the Netherlands on Wishfull Thinking (46.90 pts.). The second place took Polish rider Małgorzata Cybulska on Sir Scotty (52.50 pts.). The third place also belongs to Polish - Wictoria Knap on Rinus (52.70 pts.).
We already know the name of the winner in CI-short1*. It's Felix Vogg on Cleveland III from Switzerland, who leads from the first day. Merel Blom on The Quizmaster from the Netherlands also kept her position. She finished competition with a total score 42.90 penalty points. Kamil Rajnert was promoted from fifth to the third place with a total score 44.00 penalty points.
Third day of Strzegom Horse Trials 2015 was the last day for CI-short2* competitors. Stephanie Bohe on the 8-years-old mare Corona 94 won the competition. This pair was leading from early begining. Finally she finished with a total score 38.50 penalty points. XC attempt in "two short stars" gathered harvest. There was eleven eliminations and only two riders have arrived in normal time. This was achieved by Sandra Auffarth on Thalia l'Amaurial who has completed XC on the second place with a score 44.40 penalty points and Tim Lips on Tobruk who took the third place with a score 45.60 penalty points. Only a few seconds missed the Polish rider Paweł Spisak on Strona II to stand on the podium. In the last, this pair took the fourth position with 45,90 penalty points.
CI-long1* XC has ended. Karin Donckers, Katharina Tietz and Michael Jung finished XC without any penalty points and with normal time. All three finished cross-country with almost identical time. However, an excellent result from dressage gives Karin Donckers on Quartz de la Ferme an advantage over the rivals. Total score (after two attempts) gives that pair 36.50 penalty points. Katharina Tietz on Lucky Comeback: 40,90 penalty points and Michael Jung on fischerIncantas: 41,10 penalty points.
In the "two long stars" lead competitors from Germany: Gregor Bensmann on Nick Quick with a score 76.25% and Nadine Marzahl on Valentine 18 (75.94%). The third is Andrew Hoy from Australia on The Blue Frontier with 75.42% after dressage. Tomorrow there is another XC test at 8:00 a.m.
We have a new leader in CI-short3* after the dressage test. Karin Donkers defeated Andrew Hoy less than one percentage point. The third after dressage is Kristina Cook on De Novo News with a score 71,92%. The best from Poles is Paweł Warszawski on Huzar with a score 63,78%. This pair took the 20th place. In the Nation Cup classification after dressage test leads Australia with a total score 138.70 points. The second is the team from Germany: 141,70 points and the third - Great Britain (146.30).
