The national anthem of Great Britain ended the 13th edition of Strzegom Horse Trials. As usually to Strzegom arrived the lead of the global eventing. On hippodrome in Morawa took off 265 competitors from 23 countries. Strzegom Horse Trials 2015 was also the fourth meeting of riders competing in the Nations Cup series which took part seven national teams.
"Three long stars" are one of the toughest international competitions during those Strzegom Horse Trials but for many riders also a pass to the European Championships in Castel Blair in 2015 and for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
Today's attempt of CI-long 2*show jumping stirred a bit in the general classification. The first place took Anna Siemer from Germany with a total score 40,80 penalty points, who was one of the few who managed to finish yesterday's cross in normal time.
"I think there are really a lot of talent young riders. I know the senior riders for longer time and some others riders. (...) I think there are talent horses and talent riders and we have to look forward. It is not a work for a couple of months. we have to look forward maybe for two or three years..." - Andreas Dibowski about Polish riders.
After the fourth day of the Nations Cup the team from Great Britain takes leading with a score 146.30 points, the second place belongs to Australia (152.7), on the third place is Sweden (276,50 points). Today we known the winner of the CI-long 1*.
Michael Jung - the current vice-world champion and the double Olympic gold medalist did not give a place on podium to other riders and continued leading in the competition. He took the first and the second position with a score 38.00 penalty points (on fischerTakinou) and 43.40 penalty points (on Halunke FBW).
